Listed is a description of the work we need done by the temp hire. The total hours for this project will not exceed 480. Once the work is complete there will be no ongoing necessity to create a position related to the work. My staff will be able to maintain the code and system once it has been created. Work description: - User interface (UI) code development of the new website front end. We have a well thought out backend with numerous features our current website is lacking. Without a solid UI done by an experienced programmer this project could fail because end users would not use the site. Further, the UI is what all visitors to the site interact with, it has to be clean and functional. - UI code development of the backend component of the website. These are the pages that employees of the Tribe will use to perform a wide range of functions such as: -Post and manage documents disseminated to Washoe Tribe staff and the public. - Create forms that the public fill out to request a service or more information. - Design the UI so it is very clear what information is for public consumption versus internal only. - Create modular well documented components that comprise the UI. We will use these components to deliver a user experience that is common to the Tribe website public and internal only sections as well as Tribe affiliate websites.
